About me

Picture
I am a professional psychologist in Seattle who has been providing mental health services to individuals, families, couples, and groups for over 18 years. I have experiencing treating people with a range of difficulties and emotional pain, including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, loss, insomnia, relationship difficulties, loss of cognitive abilities due to dementia, and trauma.

I have worked with individuals recovering from Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse, physical pain, fibromyalgia, and body image problems. I also specialize in helping people live fuller lives while dealing with cancer and other life-threatening and life-altering illnesses and conditions.

My ways of working include talk therapy, dance/movement therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also draw from the theories and methods of feminist therapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, health psychology, other evidence-based treatments, and complementary and alternative methods.
